Review: Brew Café, Wandsworth

Brew - Turkish Pide

Laura Hinton reviews Brew Café, a hidden gem in Wandsworth

Drawing on its owner’s Australian roots, Brew Café, renowned for its brunch, signature egg dishes and blackboard lunch and dinner menus, has a bustling atmosphere and an incredibly varied menu.

The café has also developed the genius concept that is Brinner – breakfast all day and night. And it’s the kind of place where you can tell the ingredients that are very important.

To start, we shared the polenta chips with aioli as well as the incredibly moreish smoked potato and bacon croquettes. Both servings were huge and came with tasty dipping sauces, which were rich and full of flavour.

The classic seafood paella main, with prawns, chorizo and octopus was seasoned perfectly, while the hot chocolate and hazelnut brownie dessert was the icing on the cake to a fabulous evening.

What? A trendy café with a varied menu that works anytime of the day.

Why choose Brew Café? It’s a great place for networking over a coffee or a mid week treat with friends or colleagues.
